Fudge

About the show
Peggy wants Mark. Mark wants to be left alone. But on a train between stops there is no means of escape. Fudge is a short comedy about obsession, passion, and the need to connect with another human being.
From the writer
I am fascinated by how all of our lives are changed by interaction with others even though we may not know it is happening. I started to write Fudge one very hot summer afternoon. Holed up in my office with the air conditioner blasting away, I started to write down what I thought the thoughts might be of a very strange young woman I had bumped into. Then the characters started to write themselves. I wanted the setting to be a transient place (the train) because so many odd and memorable encounters happen in places like that. The piece is a snapshot of one of these events.
