From the writerThe play started out with the character. He came to me when I was out cycling somewhere, and I came back and wrote a couple of pages in the form of a monologue intended to portray the essence of the character. The idea was that maybe we could use him in a collaborative piece we were contemplating. But the couple of pages started to grow. And then I had a dream and the idea for the story came together.I find the character intriguing and slightly surreal. Yet I believe that what he is experiencing in the play is something that many people will relate to. It is quite different from my other piece (Chastity), but I hope you will find it equally enjoyable.
